With many years experience in the skilled profession of glass and crystal making, each piece is precisely made by hand in our self contained studio in the magical Yorkshire pennine's, each crafted piece is made from multiple layers of glass then fired and shaped then fire polished to give the perfect smooth high gloss finish, I occasionally leave in the outer bubbles to achieve a unique textured like Finnish. Each piece must pass my strict requirements before being finished and placed on sale. Each piece will be presented in its own gift box.

What Is Dichroic Glass
Dichroic Glass is a multi-layer coating placed on glass by using a highly technical vacuum deposition process. Quartz Crystal and Metal Oxides are vapourised onto the surface of the glass in the form of a crystal structure. Originally created for the Aerospace industry, Dichroic Glass is now available to the glass artist community. The main characteristic of Dichroic Glass is that it has a transmitted colour (where light passes through the glass) and a completely different reflective colour (where light reflects off the glass). furthermore these two colours shift depending on angle of view. With the play of light, together with its vibrant colour, Dichroic Glass is a prime tool used to add interest to any piece of work or project, glass artists now have unlimited freedom of expression.
